Out-of-state DUI matters

Coordinate your records and provider requirements when an incident involves another state.

Before enrollment: Confirm service availability, professional qualifications, fees, and acceptance by your referring authority with Amazing Grace DUI. This guide is not a clinical assessment or legal advice.

Identify the authority that must accept your documents

An Illinois address or an Illinois provider does not automatically satisfy another state’s requirements. Ask the court or licensing agency handling the matter which provider, report, course, and delivery format it will accept.

Prepare the records

Before arranging services, organize the incident details and the written instructions you received.

  • The state, court, or licensing agency handling the incident.
  • Any order, suspension notice, or unresolved-case correspondence.
  • Driving records from relevant states, when requested.
  • Arrest and chemical-test documentation, when requested.
  • Prior evaluation or completion records.

Keep court and licensing matters separate

Contact the court or licensing agency handling your matter to confirm any outstanding requirements. Completion of a class, payment of a fee, and restoration of driving privileges are different steps. Confirm the instructions before taking action.

Ask about Illinois driving relief

For an Illinois Secretary of State matter, use the official hearing resources and ask how residency affects the process. Amazing Grace DUI’s availability for out-of-state matters must be confirmed before enrollment.
