Match care to the assessment
A treatment-needs assessment helps identify the appropriate services and level of care. A court-related minimum number of hours does not replace a clinical assessment or determine the whole course of treatment.
Basic outpatient and intensive outpatient
Both are nonresidential approaches to care, but their structure and intensity differ. Discuss the recommended level, weekly schedule, and available clinical services with a qualified provider. This site does not assume that every level is available at Amazing Grace DUI.
An individual treatment plan
A plan should connect assessed needs with goals and services. Ask how you will participate in developing the plan, how progress is reviewed, and how changes in needs are addressed.
- What goals will guide the treatment plan?
- Which services and appointment formats are available?
- How will recommended hours and any court order be reconciled?
- What support is available if a different level of care is needed?
Completion and continuing care
Discuss the discharge process and ongoing support before the episode ends. Ask about the treatment plan, discharge summary, continuing-care plan, and any status documentation needed for a hearing.
